NEKRASSOFF ARTS & CRAFTS HAND HAMMERED LARGE COPPER BOWL
Beautifully hand crafted large copper bowl by Russian born Serge Nekrassoff (1893-1985). Nekrassoff was a master metalsmith who worked in both copper and pewter. He set up his first shop in New York City in 1925. He subsequently lived and worked in Darien, Connecticut and Florida. The bowl is marked on the bottom: "Nekrassoff". The bowl measures 11 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches deep. Beautiful, dark, original patina. Excellent condition. $195 Order #C110905

VINTAGE "MAN AND WOMAN" POSTER
Surrealistic poster design depicting a nude man and woman evolving from a base of stone, being worked on by hooded monks. The poster has the printed signature of the artist in the lower right hand corner: "Flitre" as best I can make out. It also has the title: "MAN AND WOMAN" and the manufacturer: "© 1972, AA Sales Inc., 9600 Stone Ave. N., Seattle, USA". The poster measures 22 inches by 30 inches. The overall condition is good. There is some light creasing from being rolled up. There are a few small tears and one small stain along the edges. Lovely, small sterling tray with embedded Chinese Junk silver dollar, so called because it features a large Chinese Junk on one side and the bust of Dr. Sun Yat Sen, founder of Republic of China on the other side. The coin dates to 1933-34. The front of the tray has a hand-hammered pattern with incised bamboo design, and a bamboo pattern along the edge.  The tray measures 3 1/4 inches square.
